You’ll be held in circle, invited into gentle creative reflection, and totally nourished- by the food, yes, but also by the conversation.

  • Arrive & Ground

    Step into my home, where you are greeted by cosy corners & soft music, and the scent of something delicious wafting down the hallway, a hint at the feast to come.

    You’ll be met with warm tea and even warmer energy.

    There’s nothing you need to prepare. No mask to wear. You’ve already done the hardest part- claimed this day for yourself and showed up.

    And now, the pace softens. The day begins.

  • Opening Circle & Cacao

    We begin with warm cacao in hand, a gentle invitation to soften, settle, and arrive.

    Grounding into the stillness. Shrugging off the weight of responsibility, of expectation.

    Here, in our sharing circle, is where you begin to feel the shift. To find comfort in the stories of other women, and to find clarity in whatever rises to the surface when you are invited to speak. Whether this is your first or your fortieth time sitting in circle, it always feels like coming home.

  • Meditative Journey & Personal Reflection

    We’ll drop into a guided trance journey to soften the edges of everyday thought, so you can hear the quieter wisdom underneath.

    Afterwards, you’ll be invited to journal what surfaced. No perfect words needed. Just space to let your insight land.

    You’ll be supported by prompts, garner wisdom from oracle cards. But most of all, there will be time. To breathe. To process. To notice what’s ready to be seen.

  • Around the Table

    Around midday, we’ll gather at the table for a vibrant, plant-based feast prepared with love by April from The Nourish Co.

    Expect food that feels both abundant and intentional. Full of flavour, colour and care.

    This isn’t a quick bite before the next thing. It’s a pause that fills you in every sense.

    Conversations deepen here. Laughter flows more easily. And you’ll notice how natural it feels to be fully yourself in the company of women on your wavelength.

  • Creative Play

    This is not an art class. It’s a return to the part of you that used to make things just for the joy of it.

    The creative practice is simple, tactile, and intuitive. You don’t need to be artistic.

    You might make something that sits on your desk for months, or something that gets recycled next week. That’s not the point.

    It’s about play. Presence. Letting your hands remind you what your mind forgot. Because we all do far too little of this.

  • Closing Circle & Integration

    As we anchor again into the ritual of the sharing circle, our words will cast a sacred spell for the intentions we are setting together.

    Leave with a full heart, nourished body, and a creative spark that lingers far longer than the day itself.

    You’ll walk back into your life a little slower, a little clearer, and a lot more connected to yourself.

A Creative Day Retreat for Women Seeking Real-Life Sisterhood

The Details

Creativity + Connection Autumn Retreat - 17th October 2025

Location: Creativity + Connection Retreat is held in my home in Coggeshall, North East Essex.

Timing: 10am to 2pm. Enough time to exhale, reflect, and return home before the school run if you need to!

Parking: Stoneham Street Car Park has plenty of space and is a 6 minute walk from my house. I have two spaces on my drive which I offer to anyone with accessibility needs, or, if not needed, to those driving from further afield.

Travel: Buses run from Colchester, Chelmsford & Stansted Airport. Our nearest train station is Kelvedon, and there is a community bus you can catch to arrive in Coggeshall in time for the retreat in the morning. Contact me to chat about return options, a taxi or a lift share is often possible.

Food: A vibrant, plant-based lunch prepared by The Nourish Co, with teas and snacks throughout the day.

What to bring: Just yourself and anything that helps you feel comfortable. You’ll receive a full welcome email with details once you’ve booked.

Hi, My Love. I’m Torie.

Meet Your Host

Hi my love. You might know me as a life coach, a mother or the woman behind the voice notes that say the thing you didn’t know you needed to hear.

But here, I’m your host. I’m the one lighting the candles, curating the playlists and making space for your truth to rise.

These retreats began in my home, nestled between school dropoff and pickups, because I believe transformation shouldn’t just be saved for when there’s a week’s space in the diary. Let’s face it- if we wait for that, we can wait forever.

I started hosting mothers circles in this very space when we were emerging from the depths of isolation and I quickly learnt the power of women sharing their stories in sacred circles.

My retreats are full of belly laughs and long held tears. A place where all emotions are welcomed, but we always leave the circle lighter than when we co-created it.

I’m trained as a teacher and certified life coach, but it’s my lived experience, as a mother, space-holder, and woman constantly rewriting her own rules, that shapes this work.

Everything You Need to Know About My Women’s Retreat

FAQs

  • Most women arrive solo, and leave with new connections. This space is intentionally created to feel warm, welcoming, and the women who attend all share a common thread of being drawn to sit in sacred circle.


  • Yes. The creative practices are intuitive, gentle and playful- no ‘artistic talent’ needed. This is about reconnection, not performance.


  • Absolutely. While many women here are mothers, this retreat is just for mothers. It’s about coming home to yourself, whatever season of life you’re in.

  • You’ll get a full welcome email with practical info in the weeks leading up to the retreat, but the short answer is: not much. Journals and pens are provided. I will invite you to bring a natural object for our altar if you would like to, other than that just clothing that makes you feel comfortable.

  • Due to the intimate nature of the retreat, all bookings are final. However, if something urgent comes up, you may transfer your place to another woman (just let me know).

  • I aim to host Creativity + Connection three times a year, roughly in line with the School Terms. To be first in line to hear future dates , please register your interest here.
