    Food is a MAIN EVENT on the Elemental Escape—we are total foodies. Whether we’re enjoying a leisurely lunch or an elevated evening meal, you can bet that there will be great food, buzzing conversation, and a lot of laughter. Every bite is made to be savoured that extra little bit more because you haven’t had to lift a finger preparing it, and you won’t be clearing a single plate—you’re officially OFF dishwasher duty.

    Locally-Sourced Ingredients + SEASONAL Menus

    As much as possible, our foods are sourced locally and in season. We’re lucky enough to have Cape Wrath Oysters a literal stone’s throw from the Lodge and venison from the surrounding Rhigolter Estate on our menu. If you’ve never been brave enough to try oysters before, you will never find them fresher than this!

    An All-Inclusive Experience

    At the Lodge, Lin, our housekeeper, and her husband Bob are on hand to keep everything ‘just so.’ From stacking the dishwasher, making sure your loo roll’s topped up in your ensuite, to turning down your bed in the evening (if you opt for our turndown service) — bliss!

    Neil and his team at The Durness Bus will be taking care of our transfers and travel from the airport and back, as well as on our heritage adventures while on retreat.

The Elemental Escape Is Hosted In A Classic LUXURY Highland Lodge.

Full of modern comforts to keep you warm + cosy, with breathtaking views of the hills of Sutherland and the Kyle of Durness from every angle.

The Lodge is nestled in the farthest reaches of the North — just 12 miles from Cape Wrath lighthouse. While it's nearly as remote as you can get on this island, all you need to do is make your way to Inverness Airport. From there, we’ll greet you with baskets of food, warm company, and views like you’ve never ever seen before, all the way to the Lodge.

I’m A Life Coach, Ceremony And Women’s Circle Weaver.

This Highland land, and returning to it year after year, feels interwoven with every step of growth I’ve had in my life so far. Whether I’m holding you in the circle space, or sharing with you some of my unconscious mind magic — think: trance journeys that lead you to a whole-you plane of being — I’m going to be guiding you on a dreamy adventure.

Mary Hossack, my soul sister, has been journeying to this magical land with me for my whole life — since I was a month old! — and we have, quite simply, ‘done life together’ up here in the Highlands.

Mary comes from the most incredible ancestral line of herbalists and inspirational women who held deep wisdom of the natural world, and she continues that lineage. She is also queen of LUXE ELEGANZA and knows how to ELEVATE an experience. Mary is endlessly creative, and we’re all in for a treat as she’ll be unlocking new levels of creativity in all of us.

Your bijou twin room tucked up in the eaves of Cape Wrath Lodge has a secret- a private back staircase that's yours alone to use. Fancy an early morning sauna before anyone else is awake? Or need to grab your boots without traipsing through the main lodge? Just slip down your staircase and you’re there. Bluebell might be our most bijou room, but it's perfectly formed with two comfortable beds and your own shower room ensuite. There's something rather magical about a room with its own secret passageway…

Shore Cottage Superior Room-£2,550 £2,400

Your king-sized room is tucked away in Shore Cottage, giving you a sense of your own private retreat within the retreat. Wake to views straight over the water to the mountains, then decide: will you soak in your private bathroom first, or slip through to the shared lounge with its log burning fire and more of those incredible views? This is your corner of the estate, with all the solitude you need and a beautiful communal space when you want it, and the main Lodge just a minute or two’s walk away.

Shore Cottage Classic Room- £2,250 £2,100 £2,000 £1,850 (sharing)

Your twin room in Shore Cottage offers the perfect balance. Start your mornings however you choose: curl up by the log burning stove in the lounge with a coffee and light bite, taking in the view before anyone else stirs, or head straight up to the Lodge for the full breakfast and morning gathering. The walk between cottage and Lodge gives you that breath of Highland air to set you up for the day. Your ensuite shower room is compact and complete, and that cosy lounge with the fire? It's waiting for you whenever you need to retreat.

  2. Claim your space with a £500 deposit today. (If you know you want in and you don’t care which room- you can skip the first step and do it after!)

  3. Torie will confirm your room choice once your deposit has been received, and we will then set up your bespoke payment plan. You can PIF, or choose 3 part or monthly plan until September 30th 2026, when the full balance is due.

  4. In early summer, around the start of May, when we have numbers and flight times confirmed, we will share a recommended flight list with our guests

There are various rooms available at different price ranges. Some rooms can serve as both twin or king beds, so availability listed above can change depending on requirements. If you are joining us as a solo retreater but are open to sharing a room — or would prefer to — please let us know.

We cannot guarantee that sharing will be available, unless you are booking with a friend, but we will do our best to accommodate requests.

We have rooms based in Cape Wrath Lodge, our main residence, and Shore Cottage, which is within the grounds of CWL, a few minutes walk away. Shore cottage has its own kitchen & lounge area with log-burning stove.

  • Everything once you arrive at Inverness Airport on Saturday 11th October, or Cape Wrath Lodge if you prefer to make your own way there, including meals, additional transfers, excursion fees, a welcome gift curated by Mary Hossack, circles, immersions, materials & massage treatment in our wellness area by Caroline.

    This is an all-inclusive experience, and once you arrive you will be fully taken care of and supported by our facilitators + team.

  • Flights have not yet been released, but tend to be released in January or February. We will keep you informed of this and share a suggested flight list as soon as possible. You can expect flights to be around £100 return to Inverness from  London/ Bristol/ Manchester airports.
