Day Retreat for Women in Essex, Suffolk and Beyond

Gather · Create · Remember

Creativity + Connection is a one-day retreat designed to bring you home to yourself through gentle rituals, expansive reflection, and the kind of soul-sparking conversation that rarely fits into daily life.

Set in a beautiful, quiet space- with excellent food and even better company, this is time carved out just for you- to pause, express, connect, and remember what matters.

No forced small talk. No pressure to be “on.”

Just a circle of women arriving as they are, and leaving more whole.

Sacred Stillness.

Creative Spark.

Unfiltered Sisterhood.

Welcome to the space you’ve been craving.
Not the kind where you smile politely over small talk.
The kind where you exhale fully, sip your cacao slowly, and finally share the thing you haven’t had space to say out loud.

This isn’t about escaping your life, it’s about creating enough space to hear the parts of you that have felt quiet lately.
About carving out one luminous, intentional day where you don’t have to be anything for anyone else.

Here, you’ll find women who think and feel deeply.
You’ll be held in circle, invited into gentle creative reflection, and totally nourished- by the food, yes, but also by the conversation.

As one returning guest shared:

“It’s time to step off the hamster wheel, to carve out the time and space to reflect on values and priorities. Without that, things can just pass you by. So for me, it’s like plugging in to myself and giving myself the space to explore things more deeply.”

Whether this is your first retreat or your fifth, you won’t just be welcomed, you’ll be witnessed.

And you’ll leave with something you didn’t even realise you were craving.

From the Women Who Book My Retreats Again & Again…

“Creativity & Connection quiets my mind for long enough for me to actually sit and connect with my intention. What I want to do, what I am trying to achieve, what serves me, what doesn’t serve me. Of course that's always in flux, but I think creating the time for myself to just be with my thoughts and my feelings and tune into my intuition is so helpful. And it's something that I don't do very often in day-to-day life.”

“In that window of time, a day where I'm normally either at my desk, sitting down in front of my computer working or taking meetings or on calls, or I can squeeze this transformative experience. It’s like Alice falling through the looking glass.”

“I'm drawn to your retreat days because of your wisdom. What you share online resonates with me so much. So I think for anyone who feels like they see what you share and they're intrigued by it or they feel like, ‘oh yes, that is me.’ Come along. The skills and tools that you share bring about big shifts as well. Even my husband notices the difference in me. He said: “The changes that I've seen in you are just amazing.” So, yes. It’s not just me to feels it.”

“It's sacred. It's knowing that you trust everybody there fully, even though you don't know them yet. Sometimes you do know somebody, but mostly you don't and it just doesn't matter. You trust everybody there. You know that everybody's there for that same connection, that deep connection that you don't get at, like a normal networking event, or going to  the pub.”

Hi, My Love. I’m Torie.

Meet Your Host

Hi my love. You might know me as a life coach, a mother or the woman behind the voice notes that say the thing you didn’t know you needed to hear.

But here, I’m your host. I’m the one lighting the candles, curating the playlists and making space for your truth to rise.

These retreats began in my home, nestled between school dropoff and pickups, because I believe transformation shouldn’t just be saved for when there’s a week’s space in the diary. Let’s face it- if we wait for that, we can wait forever.

I started hosting mothers circles in this very space when we were emerging from the depths of isolation and I quickly learnt the power of women sharing their stories in sacred circles.

My retreats are full of belly laughs and long held tears. A place where all emotions are welcomed, but we always leave the circle lighter than when we co-created it.

I’m trained as a teacher and certified life coach, but it’s my lived experience, as a mother, space-holder, and woman constantly rewriting her own rules, that shapes this work.

Whether we’ve worked together before, or you’ve only met me through my words: you’re welcome here.

Everything You Need to Know About My Women’s Retreat

FAQs

  • Most women arrive solo, and leave with new connections. This space is intentionally created to feel warm, welcoming, and the women who attend all share a common thread of being drawn to sit in sacred circle.

  • Yes. The creative practices are intuitive, gentle and playful- no ‘artistic talent’ needed. This is about reconnection, not performance.

  • Absolutely. While many women here are mothers, this retreat is not just for mothers. It’s about coming home to yourself, whatever season of life you’re in.

  • You’ll get a full welcome email with practical info in the weeks leading up to the retreat, but the short answer is: not much. Journals and pens are provided. I will invite you to bring a natural object for our altar if you would like to, other than that just clothing that makes you feel comfortable.

  • Due to the intimate nature of the retreat, all bookings are final. If you have signed up with a payment plan, you are committing to completing all payments.

If you find you are no longer able to attend the event, you may transfer your place to another woman with at least one week’s notice, but this is your responsibility to organise. Please let me know their contact details if this is the case. NB- We can’t accommodate big changes to dietary requirements within 2 weeks of the retreat.

If I have a waitlist of women wanting to join the date you can no longer attend, I can offer your space to the waitlist. This is not a guarantee that your place will be taken and you are still committed to any outstanding payments. If we do manage to fill your spot, any payment already taken will be credited towards a future event. No refunds will be given.

  • I aim to host Creativity + Connection three times a year, roughly in line with the School Terms. To be first in line to hear future dates , please register your interest here.
